I am excited to say this is my 3rd year teaching in the NRHEG School District, but my 21st year of teaching. When I am not teaching, my husband, three daughters and I love to go camping and enjoy outdoor activities around our hobby farm. I have the joy of helping students and staff every day, and love to make learning fun. I try my hardest to make a positive impact on my students - and love that each and every one gets to do the same for me.

My name is Sara Ihrke. My husband and I and our 3 kids live in Geneva. Our son (Blake) will be a senior and our twin girls (Bailey and Bree) will be freshmen this year. When I'm not at school, I am usually watching my kids in the activities they are involved in...which I love! This will be my 14th year teaching in Ellendale. I truly enjoy helping kids learn, and think it's the best job ever!
