Early Childhood Special Education Teachers

I graduated from Winona State with a degree in Elementary Education, K-6, and a minor in Early Childhood. I am currently going back to school to obtain my ABS (Academic Behavioral Strategist) license. I have been a substitute teacher for many years and really enjoy being part of the NRHEG district. I live in rural Ellendale with my husband and children. I have 7 children, and they all attend school in the district. I also graduated from school here and am excited to be back as a teacher. My kids are involved in sports, so much of my time is spent running to practice and sporting events. In my spare time I like to go camping. I am looking forward to a great school year.

My name is Zach Nelson, and I teach elementary special education at NRHEG. I grew up and graduated highschool in Hayfield, MN in 2018. After that I attended RCTC where I played baseball and obtained my associates degree. I then went to Winona State where I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. Outside of school, I enjoy spending my time with family or being outside on a lake or at the baseball diamond.
