Welcome to Kindergarten, where each day is new and exciting!  I am a native of New Richland and feel fortunate to raise our 3 boys here and teach in the NRHEG district.  I taught for many years in Owatonna, but chose to return "home" in 2014.  I value being able to watch my former students grow as they transition to the NR building, the benefits of a small community!  While I strive to meet student goals in an ever changing world, relationships are very important to me.  First and foremost, I hope my students always know:
    1.  I believe in you
    2.  I trust in you
    3.  You will be listened to
    4.  You are cared for
    5.  You are important
    6.  You're going to make mistakes, but you will succeed!

Hello!  My name is Nicole Seberson and I am the newest kindergarten teacher at NRHEG elementary school!  I am very excited about joining the NRHEG team and look forward to working with the kindergarten class!
I am from Waseca, MN and am happy to be back in the area.  I went to Winona State University and graduated in the spring of 2022 with a major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education with a minor in Child Advocacy Studies (CAST).  I spent my first year of teaching in Pepin, Wi in a second grade classroom!  I enjoyed having hands-on activities in class and having fun in the classroom!  I love being outdoors and spending time outdoors and spending time with my dogs.  I look forward to starting this new adventure in kindergarten this fall!
