I have been an educator for 35 years! I enjoy what I do! My husband and I have two adult children who are following in our footsteps into farming and teaching. We live and farm in rural New Richland. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, crafting and watching sports. I am looking forward to introducing my students to a wide variety of activities while teaching them that they are each unique and special!

I’m looking forward to a wonderful school year. I have been fortunate enough to teach and coach at NRHEG for more than 25 years. I graduated from Ellendale-Geneva High School and earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in Physical Education and Coaching from Iowa State University. I received my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership through Southwest Minnesota State University. In 2023 I received my Bachelor of Science degree in K-12 Physical Education. My husband, John, is a retired physical education and health teacher. We have three children: Jade, Jack, and Sidney. In my free time I enjoy boating, jogging, and spending time with my family.
