3rd Grade Teachers

My name is Todd Beynon. I was born and raised in South Dakota, and have been living in Minnesota for the past 14 years. I taught one year at Hartley Elementary, and I am currently in my 6th year teaching at NRHEG. I spent my first six years teaching 2nd grade, and I’m currently in my first year teaching 3rd grade. I graduated from MSU, Mankato with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I also serve in the South Dakota National Guard. I have an amazing girlfriend, Jenna, and four wonderful children; Jersey is 14, Jaegar is 8, and Jael and Journey are 3! I spend all my spare time with them!

My name is Amy Johns. I graduated from Blooming Prairie High School and received my Elementary Education degree from Bemidji State University. I started teaching at the NRHEG Elementary School in 2017. I absolutely LOVE being a 3rd Grade teacher.

I am excited to be teaching 3rd grade this year! I graduated from NRHEG so it has been fun to be back as part of this community. Outside of school, I enjoy doing craft projects, watching sports, and spending time with my family and friends. I can't wait to have a great year in 3rd grade!
