Free and Reduced Priced Meal Applications
Households eligible for Free and Reduced Price Benefits must complete a new application form, which can be downloaded from this site or received in the mail by contacting the district office. Please complete the form and return as soon as possible. Your free or reduced eligibility begins from the date your application is approved in the district office. New this year, families who use the JMC Parent Access can now complete their application online after signing into their account.  If you need to have a form mailed to you, please call Karla at 507-417-2605.

    Making a Deposit into Accounts
The district uses a Family Meal Accounting System where each student has their own individual identification number. All meal purchases are to be prepaid before meal service begins. We encourage parents/guardians to pay in advance of the first day of school to alleviate the constraints students experience those first days of the school year. Families may add money to their account through electronic payment options, pay in person or by mail to either school. If sending a check, please include the student’s name. If sending cash, please place in an envelope with the student’s name on the envelope.  To make online payments, please go to the district website, click on the Online Food Service Payment link and log into your JMC Parent Access.  In the menu on the left, click on Lunch.

    Low Balance
Families will receive an email through JMC or a paper notification will be mailed when their family account reaches a minimum balance of $6.00 per family member listed on the account, indicating a payment is needed. Families will be notified via e-mail, phone, text, or postal letter whose lunch account balance reaches -$25. The notification will include the offer of a Free and Reduced Lunch Application.  The notification will state if the account reaches -$50, it may be turned over to a collection agency. (NRHEG School District Policy #534) If you have questions regarding your child’s balance, please call the school office.
