Introduction

Education
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Minnesota, Mankato, in 2012, and I later graduated from the College of Graduate Studies at MSU, Mankato, with a Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders.

Family
My family includes my husband of nearly ten years, my six-year-old son, and my three-year-old daughter. Our family pets include an energetic two-year-old pup, four small fish, and a snail. We enjoy camping, gardening, and spontaneous outings to explore varying Minnesota State Parks. We are so happy to call Ellendale our home, and we are excited to share our Panther Pride!

Message to the Staff, Families and Students
I am thrilled to begin my second year with NRHEG Schools and my eleventh year as a speech-language pathologist. I am also excited to continue partnering with the families, children, and students within my local community!

In my speech room, students work hard to achieve their speech and language goals, and I strive to make it as engaging and fun as possible. I believe that learning should be enjoyable, and I often incorporate activities that students find exciting. Occasionally, students may receive activities for home practice because frequent home practice/application contributes to faster progress and generalization of learned skills across environments.

I look forward to working with all NRHEG staff and parents to empower each individual with the skills to become an independent communicator, build lasting relationships, have a solid knowledge base, and effectively share their knowledge and interests with others.
