I have been teaching at NRHEG since the fall of 2010.  After graduating from RTR high school, I received my undergraduate degree from Bethel University and my masters in chemistry from SDSU.  I currently teach Physics, Chemistry, and College Chemistry.  I have a two year old son who loves to make trouble.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, hiking through state parks, and reading good books.

Hello!  This is my second year at NRHEG teaching 7th grade Life Science and 8th grade Earth Science, and also serving as the Student Council advisor.  Previously, I taught Agriculture Education for 7 years at Waseca and 1 year at Maple River.  I enjoy teaching science because it is hands-on and so relatable to everyday life.  I love teaching middle school in particular because the students are enthusiastic, curious, and and not afraid to try new things.  Every day is an adventure!  I live outside of Waldorf on a farm with my husband and two sons.  In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, reading, and watching my boys play sports.
