6th Grade Teachers

I am beginning my 30th year at NRHEG. I have taught both 5th and 6th grade. I am currently teaching 6th grade in New Richland. I teach one section of both Reading and Math, and 3 sections of Minnesota History. I teach Driver's Education to the New Richland side. I am the Asst. coach of the Varsity Football team and have been the Head coach of the boys and girls track teams for the past 29 years. My wife (Amy) and I have 4 sons: Dalen, Evan, Kellen, and Mason. We enjoy attending Country Fest every summer and traveling. We live in New Richland.

My name is Shawn Larson. I teach 6th grade reading, math, and science here at NRHEG. I received my education from MSU Moorhead. Prior to college I attended high school in Cass Lake, MN. I live in the district with my wife Jody, and our children. I am looking forward to another great year teaching and coaching here at NRHEG.

My name is Solveig Sundblad, and I teach 6th grade math, reading, and language arts. I graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, and I grew up in Albert Lea. I run the Drama Club and direct the 1-Act play each year. I live in Albert Lea with my wife Fran and our cat Dabbers. I've travelled to all 48 contiguous states and three other countries, but I love coming home to Minnesota.
