Macy Whiteside - Community Education Director
I am the Community Education Director for NRHEG Public Schools and I am thrilled to work with people of all age ranges by hosting, organizing, creating, and teaching various types of recreation and enrichment classes for our community in order to promote and encourage lifelong learning.
I believe that by providing lifelong learning opportunities we not only strengthen our bond to our fellow community members, but we also benefit economically, intellectually, cognitively, socially, and spiritually.
I have spent my entire professional career working within community education. I hold a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and obtained my Community Education Director’s License from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2015.
My husband (Jon) and I along with our 2 children (Levi & Kendall) are very proud to call New Richland our home. We live a short distance outside of town on a small hobby farm with our 2 horses and 2 dogs. We enjoy spending time together, taking trips, and encouraging each other interests such as youth football, wrestling, baseball, softball, and horseback riding.
